When the first two brothers answer 'not I' to the big bad wolf question, they go on to build their new homes - one out of straw and the other of sticks. But when the wolf huffs and puffs and blows their houses down, the brothers seek protection in the third pig's house. He made his house out of bricks. When the wolf comes to blow down the house, the brothers hope it is strong enough.
