This animated feature is based on a 1966 hit song of the same title done by the Beatles. The Beatles are approached by a man in a yellow boat saying his country is being invaded by the Blue Meanies (amoebic-like blobs who are anti-love, anti-music). The Beatles defeat the meanies with love and several of their hit songs, many derived from their Sgt. Pepper album.
