"The General: Buster Keaton plays Johnny Gray, a Southern train engineer who has his eyes set on the lovely Anabelle Lee (Marion Mack). As war breaks out between the North and the South, Johnny enlists to win Anabelle's heart, and he is made engineer of his own locomotive, The General. When Union spies steal his train and put the life of Annabelle in danger, Johnny takes matters into his own hands. Steamboat Bill Jr.: Set on the banks of the Mississippi River, the spoiled William Canfield Jr. (Buster Keaton) returns homs from the city and is forced by his father to learn the family business--riverboating. While in town William runs into Kitty (Marion Bryan), an old flame who wants to introduce him to her father.
