This program is made possible by a 319 grant of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency administered through the Indiana Department of Environmental Management to the Division of Soil Conservation of The Indiana Department of Natural Resources, in cooperation with the Purdue University Dept of Agronomy.
This informative "how to" program on storm drain marking is intended for municipalities, educators and local volunteer groups wanting to educate citizens about nonpoint source pollution and ways we can help protect our water. Many people don't realize that everything flowing into storm drains is not cleaned before it empties into our waterways. Storm drain marking is a great community service learning project for citizens, students and organizations.
