This documentary follows the life of a 16-year-old teenager from Indonesia, Teuku Akbar Maulana. Akbar received a scholarship from the Turkish government to study in Kayseri, Turkey. Two of his high school friends, who are also Indonesian citizens, have joined ISIS through social media. Over the course of the film Teuku decides not to join ISIS because of his mother's advice to focus on school. His close and loving relationship with his parents help him make this important decision but many other teenagers are not so lucky.
