This collection comprises photostats of handwritten letters from the Warren family in Indiana and Ohio and a marriage certificate for Caroline and Josiah Warren, ranging from 1817 to 1853 regarding family life and news.

Biographical or Historical Data:
Josiah Warren was born in June 1798. On July 8, 1819, he married Caroline Cowing, who was born April 7, 1895. They both lived in Boston. Their daughter Caroline Maria Warren was born in Cincinnati on September 12, 1820. Their son Geroge Warren was born in New Harmony, Indiana, on October 23, 1826.
