Summertide -- Divergence -- Transcendence.
Summary, etc.:
SUMMERTIDE: The Builders disappeared from the spiral arm 5,000,000 years ago, yet the ongoing study of the bizarre artifacts and constructs they left behind is the life's work of many and the dangerous obsession of a few. It is Summertide, when the twin planets Opal and Quake will burst into tidal chaos as their orbit carries them closest to their sun. Access to Quake is prohibited, but to some the possibility of new discoveries makes the risk of an expedition worthwhile. Artifact researcher Darya Lang hopes to unearth clues to the Builders' existence...Councilor Julius Graves is hunting murderers...and troubleshooter Hans Rebka seeks deeper secrets--secrets found not in ancient artifacts and tantalizing clues to the past, but in the cold reality of the present.
DIVERGENCE: Divergence plunges the seekers into further peril following the upheaval of Summertide, when a terrifying and mysterious force is released into the universe. A new scientific research mission is launched--a number of its members motivated more by greed and ambition than by curiosity--only to fall pray to Builder traps, deadly riddles, and a threat powerful enough to destroy all human and alien civilizations.
TRANSCENDENCE: In Transcendence, the facts of the physical universe are twisted beyond recognition. The Alliance Council is unable to accept the science-shattering discoveries of Rebka, Darya Lang, Councilor Graves and the others. Therefore the Council cannot believe that they are all in immense and immediate danger from something that supposedly does not exist--the Zardalu. it is up to Rebka and the rest to mount an impossible mission: to locate and stop the Zardalu at a planet called Genizee--an elusive world no one has ever found in eleven milennia of trying.
Genre: Science fiction.
