The first is a partial history on the line of Nathan Poyner of Carrituck County, NC, dated May of 1978. The second is on the line of Joseph Poyner I, also of Currituck County, dated August of 1981. Also included is a book that Mr. Crossno contributed to; The Poyner Family, which was published in 1987. This book was written through the combined efforts of the Poyner Historical Committee, which referenced many of Mr. Crossno's notes.
