Animated versions of six popular children's books. Elbert's bad word: at a popular party, little Elbert overhears a most improper word. When the word pop outs of Elbert's mouth at the worst possible moment, he takes the proper steps to stop it. Weird parents: Once there was a boy whose parents were so weird and kooky he was embarrassed to be seen with them. Until he realized there is something very special about them. Little toot and the Loch Ness monster: Full of curiosity about creatures of the deep, the tugboat Little Toot sails to Scotland to search for the Loch Ness monster and ends up making a surprising new friend. Choo choo: Deciding to see the wide world for herself, a little steam engine runs away from the train yard. Before long, she realizes running away isn't much fun at all. Elizabeth and Larry: For years, Elizabeth and her beloved pet alligator Larry were best friends. But when Larry discovers he doesn't look anything like Elizabeth, it causes an alligator identity crisis. Bill and Pete: On the banks of Egypt's Nile, Bill the crocodile and his pal Pete the Toothbrush Bird, put their heads together to keep Bill from being made into a suitcase! He ends up making a surprising new friend.
