The "founder stone" of Mooresville, Indiana : its history and heritage / compiled by Virginia Perry.
In 1924, to celebrate the centennial of the founding of Mooresville, Indiana, citizens of the town installed the "founder stone" with a plaque commemorating Samuel Moore, town founder, and the locations of his trading post and dry goods business downtown on the northeast corner of Main and Indiana Streets.
