Folder one includes a 10-page typed carbon copy of "Early Churches of Johnson County", written by Faye Deputy Walters for the November 1938 meeting of the Daughters of the Union. Faye was the granddaughter of Joseph B. Deputy, Civil War veteran, 27th Regiment, Indiana Infantry Volunteers, Company H. Folder two includes 2 items. Item one is a 2-page copy of the financial report for the 1943 Johnson County Free Fair. The second item is a bound school record book of attendance records of students of District 6, dated April 12, 1875 to June 21 1878, as recorded by teachers J. R. Clemmer and James S. McQuin.
