This collection contains papers from the Indiana Association for College Admission Counseling. These papers cover the years 1960 to 2008 and include committee meetings, minutes, budget reports, correspondence between members, the organization's history, and much more. Biographical or Historical Data:
The Indiana Association for College Admission Counseling began in 1939 as the Committee on Educational Cooperation in Indiana. The Committee's work was interrupted by World War II until 1948 when a new constitution was adopted and the name was changed to The Committee on High School-College Cooperation in Indiana. In 1968, the name was changed to the Indiana Association of College Admissions Counselors. The organization is designed to help with relations between high schools and colleges and in aiding students to find the right college.
