Biographical or Historical Data:
Pearl Emma Lloyd was born August 13, 1885 at Madison, Indiana to Clyde W. and Malinda A. Lloyd. She had one sister, Goldie E. She received her B.A. and master's degrees from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana and taught school in Schools 8, 45, and 73 in Indianapolis, Indiana, retiring in 1951. She was a past president of the Grade Teachers Association, of the Indiana Historical Society and Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. She died February 24, 1969 and was buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana on February 26, 1969.Information found within the collection."Lloyd, Pearl".
