Biographical or Historical Data: Christoph Ulmer was born in 1832 in Württemberg, Germany. He left Germany and came to the United States, making his residence in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1857, he married Margaretha Katherina Stahl, a native of Wiesenbach, Gerabronn, Germany. The couple left Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana. They later lived in New Haven, Indiana.
