A scheming raccoon named RJ tricks a family of forest creatures into helping him repay a debt of food by invading the new suburban sprawl that sprang up while the family was hibernating. Although the family's cautious leader, Verne the turtle, warns of potential danger, the rest of the family eagerly dives into the world of junk food.
