Collected material relating to the family of James and Jennie Oldham Turner consisting of two pre-revolution Cuban postage stamps and 10 pages taken from the family Bible. The Bible was given as a Christmas present to Mrs. Tuner by Mr. Turner on December 25, 1883. Events occuring in the family were documented in the records section of the Bible until 1955.

James Turner (1852-1928) was born in Decatur County, Indiana and was the son of Frances and Charity Boone Turner. On March 29, 1883 in Greensburg, Indiana, James married Jennie Oldham (1858-1925), a native of Marion County, Indiana. The couple had five children.
