|Summary, etc.:|| This collection contains photocopies of letters written by Mary Hamilton and sent to her cousin, Adelia Hamilton, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The letters range from 1861-1866 and relate the weather, farm work, the condition of crops, illness, and family news. In some of her letters, Mary also mentions the war and speaks about a soldier with whom she is corresponding.
