J. Seward Johnson is a world renowned American sculptor who, after a successful career as a painter, began sculpting in 1968. From June 15 thru September 15, 2007, twenty of his sculptures were on display in Auburn, IN. His works are life-size, bronze, realistic sculptures of ordinary people doing ordinary things. Auburn had the pleasure of hosting this exhibit which was brought to Auburn by the Auburn Arts Commission, Inc., a non-profit all-volunteer group of county residents.
