|Summary, etc.:|| The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, also known as The Race to the Clouds, is the second oldest motor sports race in America and has been won by such names as Mario Andretti, Al Unser, Bobby Unser, and Robby Unser. The race is run on a 12.42 mile course with 156 turns that begins at 9,930 feet and finishes at the 14,110 foot summit of America's Mountain; Pikes Peak. As the drivers climb toward the summit, the thin air slows reflexes and saps muscle strength. The thin air also robs engines of 30% of their power at the summit. Competitors and vehicles must be in top shape simply to finish...let alone win! Hollywood Stuntman, Jeff Jensen rides the new Ducati Terra Mostro 1,400 miles from California to Colorado, to compete in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and then turns around and rides 1,400 miles back to California. If thats not enough, he's doing all this with a broken leg and an artificial knee. What makes stuntmen and racers do such things? In search of answers, Jensen is joined by two long term friends, one a former #1 National racer that, at 65 years old, continues to beat his own record and also, a 68 year old stuntman whos record has gone unbroken for 14 years but is now battling cancer.
