Summary, etc.: This collection includes newsletters, entitled "Hardtack," beginning in 1983, as well as notes from annual executive board meetings, agendas of monthly meetings, lists of past presidents, and financial information. There are some handouts from speakers.

Biographical or Historical Data: The Indianapolis Civil War Round Table was organized in 1955, and is one of the oldest Civil War Round Tables in the United States. Monthly meetings are held from September through June, with a banquet meeting in June. They have sponsored annual trips to Civil War battlefields and sites, led by tour directors/members Harry Smith and Nikki Schofield. At one time, the club also held Saturday morning breakfast meetings with a shortened program. The group contributes to the preservation of Civil War monuments and sites relating to Indiana soldiers.
