|Biographical or Historical Data:|| John J. McCartney was born in November of 1836 in Indiana. He married twice first to Xantippy Wilson on October 20, 1857 and later to Samantha Rowland on September 15, 1874. He had eight children Lillie Gudgel, Maggie Cooprider, Dora Blocher, John B. McCartney, Blanche Owens, Gertrude Redman, Ethel McCartney, and Glenn Budd. He died on September 27, 1911.
