Biographical or Historical Data: | Minnie S. Etter was born Minnie S. Clodfelter to Mathias and Mary Clodfelter in Ripley Township, Montgomery County on April 1, 1856, one of nine children. On September 24, 1877, she married Dr. Jacob Ricey Etter, with whom she had two children. She was a poet and well schooled in literature. He died in 1924. She had been a Universalist church member for fifty years. She died on August 3, 1925 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Crawfordsville, Indiana."Clodfelter, Matthias". 1870 United States Federal Census.
