Biographical or Historical Data: Isaac Farver was born to John and Rebecca Wolf Farver on March 24, 1827 in Crawford County, Ohio. He was one of ten children, including a brother, Samuel. He married May Ann Myers, and they had five children. He served in the Civil War, was drafted to Company C, Indiana 35th Infantry Regiment on October 6, 1864 and was mustered out on September 30, 1865. They moved to Spencerville, Indiana and he operated a shoe shop until 1867, He was kicked in the abdomen by a horse on September 7, 1893. He died on September 11, 1893 and was buried in White City Cemetery, Spencerville, Indiana.Information found within the collection."Farver, Isaac". 1870 United States Federal Census.
