|Summary, etc.:|| This collection contains an assortment of organizational notes, propaganda, and newspapers in regard to the People's Peace Treaty and the May Day protests in 1971; events in response to the Vietnam War. The following items are from the Bloomington, Indiana protests: six protest posters, propaganda buttons and two "Kidnap Kissinger" buttons. A set of instructions about protests in Washington D.C. is also included. Most of the protest posters are handpainted. The "May Day Protest" poster includes information on what to wear, how much money to bring for jail bail and how to behave.
