This collection includes four handwritten letters from Netta Pratt to Mary P. (Long) Frison in Rockville, Indiana, ranging from 1960 to 1965 regarding history of the Hollandsburg Baptist Church, and information about the people connected to it. There is also a clipping from an envelope indicating Netta's home address with notes on her maiden and married names, and date of death. The surnames mentioned in the letters include Shawley, Ball, Stout, Swain, Thomas, Spencer, Porter, Baker, Asbury, and Collings families of Rockville, Indiana.

Biographical or Historical Data:
Netta Ann Pratt was born in Parke County, Indiana, on October 13, 1878 to Cyrus and Mary (Collings) Shawley. Netta married Marion Curtis Pratt in 1955. Netta was a member of the Hollandsburg Baptist Church, where she served as its treasurer. She died on September 24, 1966 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
