An engaging tale of an unlikely friendship, Whispers: An Elephant's Tale is the story of a baby elephant separated from his mother. While he searches desperately for her, he is only able to find the sassy and fiercely independent Groove (Bassett), an outcast from her own herd and the last elephant in the world to ever be a substitute mom. Unfortunately for Groove, Whispers takes hold of her tail and refuses to let go and the two join to make an unusual family. Through their bickering, singing, laughing and crying, they brave the hidden dangers of the dark forest while they make their way towards the great river, a rumored paradise for elephants.
