Poco Gato, in a happy mood on his roan, jogging through the shimmering midday heat to the town of Roaring River, is rudely shaken when he runs into a group of Double Star men. All Pocoâs protests that he has nothing to do with the famous rustler Rengo are in vain. The Double Star men are out for a hanging, and it is easy enough to attach the label of âlow-down cow-thiefâ on Poco.
