|Biographical or Historical Data:|| George Kendall Marshall was from Carroll County and served as Corporal, First Sergeant, Second Lieutenant, First Lieutenant, and Captain of Company A 9th Indiana Regiments in the Civil War. After the war he moved back to Indiana and bought a farm in Clinton Township, Cass County. He was survived by his son George Arthur Marshall.
