An American vision / James H. Duff -- N.C. Wyeth / Andrew Wyeth -- Andrew Wyeth / Thomas Hoving -- James Wyeth / Lincoln Kirstein.
This 2007 edition of An American Vision, originally published in connection with the exhibition by the Brandywine River Museum and exhibited around the world, contains art from Andrew Wyeth, N.C. Wyeth and James Wyeth and essays by Andrew Wyeth, James Duff, Thomas Hoving and Lincoln Kirstein. Published by Bullfinch Press and Borders, it is filled with full color plates of the paintings and drawings of all three of the Wyeth clan. Moving through the pages is not unlike strolling the museums where this exhibition traveled throughout the USA and in Russia, England and Japan. It is a book of revelations about the three artists and an homage to a family talent and vision that persists.
