In the twelfth season, crimes of passion come to the forefront. Tensions are running high amongst New York's finest investigative and legal professionals with cases ranging from dog maulings to revived cold cases that bring to light errors of the past. But as the season builds to a frenzy, some of the team will find themselves under attack for taking justice to the extreme.
