The Border Patrol's three newest recruits are Roy, Tommy and Rusty. The threesome is soon broken up when the villainous Arizona Jack guns Tommy down in a saloon shoot-out. This leads to Roy and Rusty's suspension from the force, after which they head south of the border in pursuit of Tommy's killer. They discover that Arizona Jack has joined forces with a crooked mining engineer to smuggle gold illegally, but when they find their hideout they are captured and slated for death.
