Shemp is a lowly voice teacher who stands to inherit a fortune, but there's a catch. To qualify for his inheritance, he must marry someone by six o'clock, but no girl wants to accept his proposal. Finally one of his extremely homely students accepts his hand in marriage, but when the rest of the prospective brides hear about his impending fortune they all show up at the ceremony and a free-for-all ensues.
