"Entered according to act of Congress, in the year 1835, by F.J. Huntington, in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of Connecticut."--at foot of upper cover. Huntington and Savage was located at 216 Pearl St., New York, between 1843 and 1850; Mason and Law was located at the same address in 1850. H.W. Derby & Company published in Cincinnati between at least 1845 and 1858.
Metal-engraved maps. "Engraved by W.G. Evans N. York, under the direction of E.H. Burritt."--at foot of first leaf.
