Tale of two cities: A British barrister falls in love with a comely French lass who marries another. When her husband returns to Paris to rescue a family retainer he himself is imprisoned. The barrister then comes up with a daring plan to save the lass's husband.
Jane Eyre: An orphan girl finds her way in life as a governess.
Legend of the Sea Wolf: Chronicles the adventures on the high seas.
