They're assigned a life threatening task; to enter radioactive waters and find an insane scientist (Brown) who's been in solitude while waiting for what he believes to be the final "end." Before the mission begins, the commander meets the scientist's beautiful ex-fiancée (Ward), to whom he immediately takes a liking.
